Dhakir Abdullah and Madison Clark received fellowships from Dr. Kate Shuster, the director of the Teaching Tolerance’s Teaching Hard History project, to collect 100 new primary sources concerning the Civil Rights Movement. Their official title is Teach Tolerance Research Fellow. They will be a part of a team of ten graduate students who will be responsible for adding materials to the online Teaching Tolerance text library. The materials will help instructors who teach K-12 lessons on the Civil Rights Movement. This is glorious news, Dhakir and Madison, and we salute you on this day, where we have freedom and justice on our beautiful minds! Onward and kudos.
